Benefits of learning a new skill

It is another new week and we are looking forward to our flower workshops starting for the Christmas season. I wonder though, if you’ve thought about the benefits of learning a new skill? Put aside finding the perfect Christmas present,

See what you think of these following points and whether they could be applied to learning a new skill? Increased confidence, fulfilment, sharper focus in your thinking, shared experience, broader perspective, problem solving, stress relief…

Now you might think this is a bit of a mad list but I reckon a lot of these will apply if you take yourself and a friend off to learn a new skill like how to make a hand-tie….

Flower workshops, wiltshire

I know one of the most common things people say when they attend a floristry workshop is, is how therapeutic they find it, its certainly a relaxing experience. I also know the benefit of being around flowers. Its mood boosting, it connects you to nature and it’s the visual pleasure you receive being around flowers.

So when you come to our Spring hand-tie workshop you will be using all british grown flowers that will have been locally grown. I will show you how to create a water supply for the flowers that is sustainable and compostable. (I did do a blog post of this so have a look here if your interested)
