We love cooperating with other small business in the area, so we were chuffed to bits when the amazing bridal studio Flossy & Willow in Bradford upon Avon asked us if we’d like to decorate their windows.
So ‘Young Blooms Takeover’ started, and Laura, the owner of Flossy & Willow, gave us some inspiration for the window from Pinterest.
What we came up with are these two lovely garlands, made mostly of foliage as well as green anthurium, green molucella and green cymbidium orchids. Using all foliage is quite a modern idea, and we think (without patting ourselves on the back too much…) that this design not only works beautifully for the window display, it is also a perfect backdrop for fashion-forward couples to get married under!
If you want to find out more about current trends in the world of bridal flowers, have a look at the Q&A we did with Flossy & Willow at the start of our ‘window takeover’.
We also do a bridal bouquet each week for them for brides to hold as they try on dresses, to give them the full effect of how gorgeous they are going to look on their big day. We tend to put photos of the bouquets on our Instagram feed before they go out, so do check it out – you’ll find lots of great ideas ad inspiration there! .
