It’s London Fashion Week and as I was perusing the LFW website and came across a short bio of the designer Erdem. He quoted his signatures as ‘colour, optimism & oddities’ Liked this rather fabulous description as it made me wonder how I would describe Young Blooms Signature?? Saying that I checked out his pre-collection SS13 and fell across this divine dress! Bridal?? Bridesmaid??
Imagine a gorgeous teardrop bouquet of ivory orchids against that! Absolutely stunning I think as you will see below.
This was done for a wedding in the summer, the bride wanted a compact yet elegant style. She chose the orchids as her signature for the day with her Groom having one for his buttonhole.
These photographs were took by James Green from pure love wedding photography We love his style and feel, very elegant and chic!
The bride chose a dress from one of my favourite bridal shops which is just down the road from us. Their dresses are truly divine and don’t get me started on the shoes…… (very strokable Rachel Simpson shoes is all I’ll say)
As a small aside, if you are reading this and have been a Bride of ours we would absolutely love it if you could vote for us in the National Wedding Awards as the voting closes soon and we are really excited to see how far we get, the link is here so please do get voting. xx
Finishing off this wedding at the Guildhall in Bath the Bride chose a very fresh look for the tables with large glass cubes which were filled to the brim with soft ivory roses and purple lisianthus. Simple & delicate was the order of the day!
