Changing seasons

autumn wedding flowers

Seems like Autumn has arrived for us here in the UK, I walked to the supermarket the other day and watched all the trees beginning to shed their leaves in the wind. Do you have a favourite season? I’m a fan of autumn when its not raining but at the moment that might be tricky. In a way I want to enjoy autumn as it always seems that people are in a rush to get to Christmas.

I thought I’d take a moment to go back through some of the weddings & events we have done in the autumn months, the photo below was a glorious wedding at the Moonraker Hotel  and I think the bride had her whole family painting pumpkins.

The tables at the reception looked fab with these flower filled pumpkins on them.

Are you a fan of putting a wreath on your door?

We have a dried flower wreath workshop last Autumn

I’ve also begun gathering ideas on Pinterest for the Autumn so do check it out here. I think Pinterest can sometimes feel like a rabbit hole to disappear down but a lot of the time it’s a really good to get inspiration for ideas you’re thinking about.

We are busy planning designs for a wedding fair we are attending next month at Tracey Park and are going to use this autumn colour palette of peach and orange.

I leave you with the photo below as this season doesn’t need to be all about oranges and reds. We filled these two milk-churns a couple of years ago for the wedding at the lovely Widbrooke grange. We will be back there in November this year with lots of Hops to drape around so it should be fun.
