Autumn wedding

Wiltshire wedding

This wedding, shown below, was such a pleasure to create, held at the Field Kitchen in Holt back in the Autumn. I worked with Philipa the Bride to create her style and feeling for the day. She carried a very natural style bouquet of blue delphinium, thlaspi, ivory wax flower, feverfew and lovely pops of yellow provided by the crespidia.

The ceremony was held in a fabulous Buffalotipi next door to the reception at the field kitchen. The day of the ceremony dawned and the weather was bright and warm, I love decorating the field kitchen as it’s a wonderful space to create more stand out pieces. It has a very relaxed feel but is also quite industrial in style. We looked a designing some sort of foliage wall for inside and I used the metal grid as my starting point. It was lovely to keep this larger design foam free as I was able to use more durable foliage at that didn’t need a water source!

The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the Brides bouquet which were set off beautifully by their pale pink dresses.

I made them all flower-crowns out of ivory wax-flower and added some yellow crespidia for the brides crown.
