I love hosting workshops at Young Blooms, and this one was a corker, we had a fab group of ladies who were staying here for a hen-party. They wanted something creative to do as the Bride herself was looking to do her own flowers for her wedding. So they decided to combine it all and come and enjoy an afternoon of flower-crown making and bouquet arranging! They started out with lunch at Hartley Farm-shop then came over to us to start making…
We used all British grown flowers which was fantastic, some were from our flower-garden and also another local grower called Electric Daisy Flower farm. The scent of herbs and roses filled our workshop as the ladies got busy making. I always love it when people come to these events saying they are not creative and have no idea how to make things, then in the process manage to create something that’s utterly gorgeous.
Check out the review they gave us at the end of the day….
And fret not I did celebrate with a gin or two!
Grace, I really cannot thank you enough for today!!! We all had the BEST time and the workshop completely excelled my expectations.
Thank you for allowing us to make all 3 items and for staying so long after the workshop was due to end. I hope you are now sinking a large glass of well deserved Gin. We are raising a glass of champers in your name as I type!
Thank you again,
Ali (and the Hens) xxxx
