Its been a blur of wedding flowers this summer and we have been lucky to visit lots of beautiful venues some familiar and a couple of new ones slightly further afield which has been exciting! Always lovely to visit new venues and dress them with flowers for our brides. Brides have chosen gorgeous themes and colours this year, and no wedding has been the same.

Love the mixture of these British grown Zinnia with fabulous Juliet roses, creating a vibrant and gorgeous Bridal bouquet. The luxurious David Austin favourite for this Summers wedding season. Juliet roses combined above with scented stocks and large headed romantic antique roses, made for a gorgeous Summer bouquet, classically beautiful and gorgeously scented. Its certainly been a fashion this year for larger bridal bouquets, they are more relaxed in style and have that feel of being cut straight from a cottage garden.
This year we grew Cafe Au Lait dahlia specifically in the Not So Secret Garden for this bouquet above. The are stunning blooms, pale peach and pink with an antique feel! They are very large heads and do a create a striking look. The bouquet was softened by adding trailing jasmine and yummy bombastic spray rose. (they are the pale pink ones!)
Putting Sempervivum into Bridal bouquets creates wonderful texture and gives a stylish feel, we’ve selling a lot of them at Young Blooms HQ as they are fairly low maintenance plants. This bride and her fiancé got married at Bishopstrow which is a lovely venue! We are looking forward to creating some more floral arrangements for the hotel as they are having a wedding Open Day on the 18th September so do take a look if your looking for a boutique venue.
